The 2008 ForTwo will be extended by a full seven inches and its weight will increase slightly, for U.S. requirements and compliance reasons.

The Smart's headlights will be larger and more aerodynamic, its taillights will be restructured for a sleek appearance and its improved horse power will enhance gas mileage.

The 2008 Smart adds superior safety features, including a modified windshield angle for protection, as well as additional color alternatives and standard and optional equipment will now be available. The newest generation Smart will embrace the popular Brabus appearance.
