We pickup our Smart this past summer and it has been a fun car. Not a day goes buy when I don't get a question about it. Not sure if it is because it is a half a car or it has a flock of bats on it. We own a Vinyl Wall Graphics business and decided what better way to advertise. Getting ready to install a couple of mods to it. Turning 60 next April, I WILL have a (pre-owned) SMART by then!
It'll be - most likely - a METALLIC BLUE one with SILVER FRAME, it MUST have heated seats (living in Montana!), and the license plate will be SMILEMAKER, as I am a Dental Technician, specialized in making Dentures...

Even though I have seen a number(5?) of SMARTS here in Missoula, I know only one owner - will ask him to join as well -
its a Cabrio, now in GRIZZ colors- maroon and silver-, advertising his B&B
"GIBSON MANSION" - a beautiful place...

It is a querky little car. Funny transmission, very light, seems to get blown around on the highway.... I have had my smart about a month and a half. It is a querky little car. Funny transmission, very light, seems to get blown around on the highway. That being said it took me about an hour to get used to the transmission, and found that I was over reacting to the wind. If you trust the car you can let go of the steering wheel on the highway and it will still go strait. It feels worse than it is. I couldn't say I would recomend it to everyone, but if you don't mind a little bit of a learning curve, and you are not afraid of the small package this car is a blast. I already have about 3500 miles on mine and have averaged, to date, 41mpg.
