The main tank at the Aquarium is called the Kuroshio Sea and holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water. It features the world�s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

The other side of Veterans Day

Always great to hear the support from people around the country for our veterans on November 11th. For that one day you'd think we Americans couldn't do enough for all those who served. The other 364 days of the year...not so much.

Any tips on how to get more members?

Hey everyone!

Ok, so I had taken over the CenTex smart club here in Austin back in June(it just fizzled out about a year ago when the guy running it just couldn't devote the time).

Since then, we have done a couple of Meet-N-Greets, one event and we have been giving a really great opportunity for the holidays. I have posted on all of the forums that I could think of, even the ones that only have 4 members (LOL)! I have printed out fliers and left them at the smart center, I have sent emails, updated our facebook account, and have placed notes on smarts seen in parking lots. With the event that is coming up, we are getting a police escort into a Blue Santa event and have a designated area just in front of the main stage to do a smart car show. I would really like to get a lot of smarts there, but, I have not been getting any responses from anyone.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks that I could try to create more activity for this? I don't want this to end up being just 1 or 2 smarts getting a police escort, because then it would probably just end up looking like a hot pursuit!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I started to paste it in here, but trying to establish all the links here was too much.

So I have saved the document two ways on my domain, if you are or know a vet you may wish to take a look.

I could not test every link for accuracy, but tried to fix some broken links from the original email.
