I just thought I'd let everyone know that Tire Rack is offering a close-out special on the Blizzak LM-18 in fortwo front/rear sizing.

Only $49 each for the fronts and $64 each for the rears. That's roughly 30% to 40% off the original Tire Rack pricing. They're currently listed as "In stock" but I'm not sure how many they have in inventory.

I ran these last year on All Ball, and he was like a little white and black snowmobile. :) Definitely the best winter tire value you'll find at the moment.

They are in excellent condition and have about 3K miles on them. How much could I expect to get for them? Any feedback is appreciated.

hi everyone im trying to spruce up my white and silver pure and im looking at wheels. im trying to go for the refined look not the sporty look. id prefer to stay in the 15" size i plan on storeing this car mostly and only driving it to shows and car meets. ive got a passion as a daily so i kinda want to gear this on as a long term collecter car. i want to do stealth upgrades that dont go far from a stock look. most of the 16 and 17 inch wheel look more sporty. Im debating between the ace decorsa ,rail, genius wheels.
on the ace decorsa and genius wheels i notice a polished lip is that clear coated or bare metal? which wheel would be better for what im looking for?
any feed back is very welcome. :)

I've seen all kinds of combos are done these days. Not so much whimpering as a year ago... ;-)

So, I would like to run all OEM REAR tires if possible without changing the front WHEELS out.... mostly to save money and maybe get a slightly better ride quality?

Are folks doing this successfully or do ya have to swap out the front wheels to the larger wheel size?
Does this eat fuel in a major way or not?

If ya go to the larger wheel size on the front , are there softer riding tires available in a better size than the OEM rears??

We have 15,000 on the Cabrio and another 3,000 with it being towed without issue. I would just like to have ONE size tire and maybe carry a spare just fer grins. I wish the factory would give an option for tires with a higher sidewall profile that would give a bit of ground clearance and ride a bit better maybe. I dunno ....

We did get one flat tire due to puncture. I plugged it with a motorcycle type mushroom plug and it's gone almost a year now without any further leakage or problems. I wouldn't mind carrying a spare whelel and tire in the motor coach though, cuz I don't want to be caught out in the middle of nowhere with a shredded tire or broken rim on the toad and nowhere to get one...

I'm startin to turn into a geezer.... I can FEEL it ....

Hello dear forum members,

I am the owner of a 2008 451 stock silver.

I love my car but I feel its a bit "tall".

So my question for you guys are:

1. Can I install new springs myself?
1.1 Is it difficult?
1.2 Does it req any special tools?

2. What springs is the best choice for me? I like a comfy ride, not to hard.

3. How low should I go?
I have to add to this one that roads in Norway are not that good so going very low is not an option. I am running stock wheels and tires.

Thanks,
K
