Rhode Island Gathering!!!

For those who purchased/will purchase their cars from smart center Warwick, RI, or for any others who are nearby and are interested, there will be a VERY FIRST TIME gathering on July 26th at 11:00 am at smart center Warwick. For those who are owners or reservation holders, you will be getting an email from Sue Lemoi early next week. This note is to let others know who may be interested in attending. All are welcome!

Refreshments will be served, and there will be surprises!

Karl: I live in the northern part of the state, so I'm not that familiar with the beaches, but maybe Sylvan can answer as she lives in Charlestown. Sylvan?

A buddy got his Masters at URI and monitoring the catch on fising boats was part of his thesis. The pier area I remember from back then was pretty cool, been more than a few days, lol.

I'm not much of a seafood eater, but waaaay back in the day, when Rocky Point was still open, they had a big chowder and clam cakes place by there...
I've never been to a pier in Warwick, though. Most seafood places I get dragged to are down in Galilee, by Point Judith and the Block Island Ferry.

Yeah. There's a great place for seafood in Gallilee, called Chappies. I take my Mom there for her birthday once in a while. I don't eat fish, but there's plenty for me and they do have a terrific clambake all on one platter. Lobster, steamers, mussels, corn, sausage, potatoes, etc.
