Smart night at the movies!!!!!!

I’ve had quite a few requests for another drive in movie night so here we go!!!! I’ve spoken with the Ruskin Family Drive in and on Saturday, March 21st we’re going to have a smart night at the movies!!! The Ruskin Family Drive In is a small family oriented drive in theater in southern Hillsborough County. Admission is only $5 per person and it will be a double feature. We’ll plan on meeting at the theater at 6:30 so we can all enter together and park together. The movie starts at 7:30. Movies are announced one week prior so I’ll send that information later. You can bring food if you like and there is a great snack bar. The only rule is no alcohol.

The movies have been announced for out night at the Ruskin Family Drive In.

Movie 1:
Race to Witch Mountain
Rated PG
Movie begins at 8:00 p.m.

Movie 2
Bedtime Stories
Rated PG
Movie begins at 9:40 p.m.

As anticipated, the start time has moved back with the time change last weekend. Please plan on meeting at the entrance by 7pm. This will allow us to all park together when the box office opens at 7:30 PM. This is a single screen drive in and it’s usually sold out on Saturday night so please be on time. Admission is $5 per person and cash only. You can sit in your smart to watch the movie but Jenny and I (we’re sort of regulars here) have found that if you back in and bring a couple of lawn chairs and a stereo (sound is broadcast on an FM frequency in addition to the traditional speakers) the sight lines are much better (especially if your tall like me).

Food and drinks (NO ALCOHOL) can be brought in but I’d encourage you to support the snack bar. The food is great and you can’t beat the prices. So come on down and enjoy a night with us in small town south shore… you’ll have a great time.
