New smart club meet up

smart center Las Vegas is starting a smart car club. The first meeting will be this week and it would be great to see everyone there!!

Dear smart owners:

I would like to invite you to attend the first smart club meeting. It will be held on March 10, 2009 at 5:30 at the smart dealership. We will be discussing the following: The official start of the club: smarts up coming birthday event, and the St. Patrick’s Day parade.



Please feel free to invite anyone you feel would be interested in being involved with the club.

Sean. Would love to be at the meeting, but we don't get into Vegas until March 26th. We may very well be moving there and would love to be included when we do. Will be keeping an eye on the Nevada group and if we are in town when there are any happenings, would love to be included.

Just in case someone didnt get the email we are having a meet up at the Las Vegas sign Saturday the 28th at 11 AM. Here is the email:

All smart owners are invited to meet at the Las Vegas sign, on Las Vegas Blvd. at 11:00 A.M. for a group photo; we will then caravan to the smart center for lunch and special activities.

OK Sean.. you have some renegades driving around out here (there) in Vegas. I am out here visiting my son and I am sitting in a parking lot trying to map where I am supposed to be and a girl pulls up and obviously going to the gym to work out. Well, naturally, being the ambassador I am, I walked over to her car and took my smart hat off and knocked on her window. I showed her the hat so she wouldn't take me for an old man stalker and started talking to her about her car. Asked her if she was on the smartcarofamerica web site and she said she wasn't registered. I told her about the photo shoot on Saturday at the Vegas sign. So if you see a young lady in a yellow/silver smart, ask her if she is the one.... Enjoy your day on saturday, if I can make it, I would love to stand in with you all. Russ (from Ohio)

I just wanted to say we had a great time at the event. WoW that was crazy at the Las vegas sign did anyone get the full count there? I think it was around 27 cars.We had every space but one with smart cars two deep. The food was great and very nice of Romy and Jesica for doing all this for us. I have never seen a dealership go so far to enjoy the cars with us.
