Tom - I'm in Reno. There are a few of us here, but we don't have a chapter. Last summer a meet-up was arranged at Legends in Reno, but unfortunately I had to be elsewhere that weekend. There's been some talk about another meeting, but so far, nothing that I know of has been planned.
Are there any other Reno owners reading this? What about a meet-up sometime this summer?
Wiloran, Yes I remember the meeting last year I think it was around Hot August Nights the first Sat. My wife and I went up there to see the Smart Cars we had not gotten our Smrte yet but went any way.
I have been looking to see if there was going to be any planned get together again but have not heard of anything.
We live in Gardnerville, and when the salesperson (from Sacramento Smart Center) delivered it to us in May he had mention they was talk about organizing a gathering of cars. I have not heard anything back yet.
If you hear or I hear of a gathering up here in northern Nevada I will try to post.
Let's plan a time and place. I'm gone 7/24 through 8/10, then again 8/21 & 8/22, but otherwise will be sticking fairly close to home. We can announce it here and I've also communicated privately with a couple of other Reno members, I can try contacting them again to let them know.
These little SMARTs are hard to find here in Reno. I have seen several but not in a time or location that I could contact them. If there is to be a meet, count me in.
