Is anyone interested in swapping panels? I have metallic blue and was hoping for the yellow.
Otherwise, does anyone have a price for custom painting? There is an ADORABLE Tiffany blue one on the lot and now I want a custom color... It shouldn't be too bad if you take the panels off and take them in to be painted, right? :-)
That's what I would think, since all they have to do is prep and spray; no labor for removal and/or masking, etc. Do you have a shop in mind? I had some repairs done several years ago on the Suburban at Simone's Auto Plaza on Bermuda. Don't know if they are even still there but they did an outstanding job. I'd go to them again, for sure.
Did you find any panels? How about a paint shop? Considering getting a second set of panels w/o paint (black or white?) for Valentine's Day. Is that romantic or what?!?!
Is it only $1000 to have the dealer swap colors? I have white and would like yellow or red.
That depends on your dealer. The panels are $800/$900 MSRP, depending on color, and it should be about 2 hours labor to install. Oddly, the quote I got was $2000.
