One yearago today we bought my wifes smart. We were just rearended in a parking lot. A young girl looking at the car and hit us in the left rear quarter panel. It scratched the panel and broke a clip. Not bad waiting for smart to open monday and get a price for the panel.I will install it my self and be nice to the girl and not turn it into the insurance.just let them pay for the parts. Happy newyear

Just remember what goes around, comes around! You did a good deed by letting her off, hopefully good things will come to you.

I'd make her replace it....physically. The panels are so easy to replace a caveman can do so a young girl can too.

Just got called today from smart the panel is in.I will pick it up and install it this weekend. it was 167.00 with extra clips.The man paid for it the day I ordered the panel and said thank you. it would of been nice for a couple of bucks for my time to put it on but thats ok.
The wife lost her Raymond Weil watch at school last week in a bag she donated with videos and the janitor took them home to use,The wife asked if anyone found a watch and he returned it.It fell off in the bag. KARMA....

well just finished installing the new panel took an hour.Just went slow not to break any clips since it was my first time for the rear. I could do it alot faster now that I know were all the clips are. looks like new again the wife is happy.
