in Portland, OR - Snow TIres

I have a set of Pirelli Winter 190 Snowcontrol winter tires in need of a new home.

These were purchased from Smart Center Portland for $396 (before installation) and have 3283 miles on them. No wheels, no sensors, just the tires.

$250, local pickup. Please send a PM if interested.

John, I'm guessing you are crossing the Rockies for sure.

But since you won't have snow tires... will that move happen BEFORE the snow flies or AFTER it melts?

The smart and I are headed to warmer climes, hence the need to sell the cold-climate tires. The rubber compound is much better below 45ºF. I don't know if I'll see 45ºF in the next year.

Even if I had financial issues that might make me want to sell the smart, I customized it enough up front that I'm sure I'm still upside down on the loan. I hope to be with this car a very long time.

I just wanted to make sure I understood. I wasn't sure if this was another one of them people leaving things.

snow tires

John - I might be interested in the tires - I am a newcomer to the smart group therefore I cannot send you a PM. Please send me a PM about the tires. They would have to be UPS'd to me through, I am in PA.

I'd prefer to hold off on trying to ship tires. I think I've seen people ship them by wrapping the label around a few inches of the tire circumference, but it's a little messy.

If I don't find anyone interested locally, I'll consider shipping; that decision is at least 2 weeks away. Keep a lookout.
