Rare Ronal Teddy Bear Rims FS.

First I'd like to appologize to the mods for having my first post be a for sale thread. I know I don't like it when a bunch of newbs come in hocking their wares on websites where I'm a member. Please bare with me: I believe that these rims are rare enough and that your members are unique enough that there maybe some genuine interest here.

I would like to provide a link to the ebay listing.

Thanks for your time,

Dave

4x100, et 38 or there abouts...

How much are you looking for? I have a E30 (BMW) track car that could use some wheels to psyche out the competition.

These are probably the silliest rims ever put out by any manufacturer. Ever.

Back when I had a car company, we had a VW Rabbit Cabriolet that started off triple white (white top, white interior, white paint) that a guy got for his daughter. He subsequently didn't pay for it, so I had to go repo it. When I went to pick it up, the paint had been changed to hot pink, and it had these Ronals on it ... powdercoated white with pink highlights.

Being who I am, I decided to stop at a local restaurant to eat: Cooks Corner. It's a lovely place with bar food and lots of Harleys outside.

The biggest, scariest biker dude walked up to my table, sat down across from me and said "you've got to be a real man to drive a car like that."

Personally, I think these rims are worth the money. If there was a way to fit 'em on a Smart, it'd be cool. Way cooler than Lambo doors!

Great story, Meat. It should be a scene in the smart Movie.

Thanks for posting this... I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Pink VW Rabbit with teddy bear rims. I love it! You can't make this stuff up!

These would be great on a hot pink smart... if they'd fit.

OK, I took the plunge?

I am the current high bidder on these ($102.50 at 10:30PM EST 8/9/08
Probably will get "sniped" at the end?

Any thoughts on what spacers to use to fit these on a smart?
