Rear glass hatch for 2008 451

Looking to replace the rear hatch glass surrounding frame. The plastic has cracked beyond repair. The glass is good though. Do I need the whole piece with the glass? I did get a $250 price plus another $200 to ship. Anyone else have one. I'm in Florida

That is a factory bonded part. No way to repair that I'm aware of. You're stuck buying a whole new hatch.

Sorry.

You could try a Plastic Welding Kit, I have used mine for years very successfully on motorcycles and scooters

[ It DOES take practice, though. There IS a technique ]

Check with this guy parting out a 2009?
He doesn't list the hatch, but who knows?
Looks like he is in FL as well?

2009 part out...

If that's including the glass, that's good. A glass shop once quoted me $500-600 for a new back glass, when I went in for a windshield ($650 or so billed to insurance). Because it's curved, the glass itself is 'special.'

The glass was included as well as the windshield wiper & third brake light. I think the glass is molded into the plastic shroud. I will hang onto the old piece if any one needs one.
