Wanted: smart car (451) tow hooks

they use a similar system on MB cars any one checked the scrap yards?

The MB's and Smarties are shipped on the cargo ships with 2 of these holding them down to the car. You can get them from dealers as many times they leave the cargo hooks in the trunk and the dealer removes them and throws them away. They look different than what came with your car but I like them better.

We are taking her on a trip this week; I'll check the dealer map and if we go by a dealer we can stop and buy some more tow hooks..

Has anyone the part number for these tow hooks? Also for the folding hook in the cargo area? I tried calling the 2 dealers that we drove by on our trip last week and neither of their parts departments knew what they were!

Well, after searching the forum again I did come up with part# 4508140014; Cost $38.75 for the D-Rings in the cargo area. But still no part# for the tow eye/hooks.
