Stock Exhaust - $100

This beauty comes from Tucker, my 2012 smart fortwo passion coupe. I recently upgraded to a Genius exhaust and despite advice telling me to keep it, other voices are telling me our garage has no space for it.

The exhaust has never seen any snow, just a tad of rain (as you'll be able to tell in the photo), and a bit of slow driving. It has 2,411 miles on it (200 less than what the car currently has on it) and I'd like to let it go for $100 + shipping.

If you're interested hit me up with a PM or reply here!

Don't listen to the voices! KEEP IT!!!! I swap mine out every so often. 1. To keep all the exhaust bolts in good working order. 2. To remind myself what a stock smart sounds like every so often.

Again, KEEP IT!! Keep it in your room's closet if you can. I'd keep it for you if you were closer. Lots of room around here.

Periodic exhaust swaps sound completely unattractive to me. I'm amazed I got the new one in so well!

It might bite me later if somehow the exhaust system goes K.I.A. but much like with my shift knob it's a chance I'm willing to take. Heck, my original shift knob is now in Jedi's car!

Oh, and sale pending!

I agree with the others. I have changed a lot on my my car and have kept every thing stored for future use. You never know, when it comes time to sell, the new buyer may want the car back to stock. I have everything from the stock antenna to wheels and tires put away.

I thought your car was a lease? If so, keep the stock exhaust, swap it back on at the end of the lease and sell the Genius then.

I'd keep it. You never know about after market product. If you ever sell your car, might be nice to have a quiet exhaust.

And all those are admittedly good reasons to stockpile stock parts...but since I'm not concerned about resale (don't plan to buy cars as an investment) or the lease (lets me mod) I'm taking the chance with letting it go.

That said...SOLD!

I know you gotta do what you feel you gotta do. Please don't get mad at me if I happen to say 4 words in the future. (I told you so). My exhaust is one from someone else's car as I got rid of my original too.
