I like the 2009 red much better. . . But I'm biased, I own a 2009 Red Menace.

I didn't choose red so I don't have a dog in the fight, but I've had occassions to compare both '08 red and '09 red now. On a clear sunny day I think the '09 red looks a little better, but on a wet, overcast day the '08 takes the prize by a bunch. Otherwise, with either red, I think the black trid and grille piece compliment the colors best.

I agree with Old Smart. I had the choice of keeping my 08 red or taking the 09. I decided I liked the 08 color slightly better. The metallic just has a bit more life to it in certain lighting conditions.

The new red looks just like any other old car out there. The 08 Orange red is unique and looks a lot better
