Call from smart center Riverside

I got a call while we were on vacation from Shanna at smart center Riverside internet division letting me know that there is a wait of about 18 months to get a smart and that they have some orphans available. I let her know that I have a DDE of 12/29/08-3/29/09 and that I will just be waiting for the smart I ordered.

wait for your car it's just a ploy to sell you an add on orphan. The word on the the street from people that work at Smart USA is that Riverside is getting a lot of orphans and can't sell them so they are actually sending them to other dealers.

It looks like you may be the very first one with the new red in the IE.
I believe ADilwicius's post. There were a lot of smarts at Riverside Smart when we got ours last week-end.
I just can't believe we were able to get an 09 and not an 08. If our due date had been a few months off, we too would have waited for our ordered "red". But there was no way we were going to wait another year for our car.
And - the blue is pretty.
