For a background discussion on this take a look at "Smart Banned From French & Italian Car Show"

To synopsize. I started that discussion to try to see if people thought we were ""French enough" to take part in this show: The Best of France & Italy."

Instead the discussion devolved into at political diatribe.

OK, we may not be a French car, but we definitely are assembled in France and fine examples of "The Best of France..."

So let's get back to the basics:
Someone said who is included is up to the organizer of the show and if I don't agree with her decision I should start my own show. He's right. But for now...

Even the promoter of this show has said she welcomes us smarties parking together in the parking lot.

And one of you suggested the following:

For those of you who would like to join us, check out this web site for location and times. The show is this Sunday in Woodley Park, Encino, CA, near the intersection of the 405 and the 101... Victory and Woodley to be exact. But let me know if you are planning to be there and be there by 8:00 AM or we won't be able to all park together.

It could be that most of your California compatriots don't see the exclusion of smart from the show as such a big deal.
