Hmm sounds like a great plan, I'll post it up on the meetup and see if we can get more RSVP's.. Unfortunately I don't think I can wake myself that early to get to Encino!

Thank You So Much!

Thanks SoCal Smarties for your support. This event should be a blast. Wait till you see all the wonderful, beautiful, and silly cars on display.

Our participation will only make an already wonderful show even better. Who knows, maybe next year we will even be able to fully participate.
Danny

So, what I seem to be hearing from a few proponents on this thread and the original thread, is that it is OK to crash a party (or demonstrate outside a party) to which they have not been invited.

Would you also feel right about crashing somone's family picnic, where you are not a direct family member and have not been invited to the gathering?

This is not a CRASH situation

The organizer said that though she felt we were not truly French cars she would not at all be opposed to us parking our cars in together in the parking area.

Perhaps this is too serious for you. If so just don't come.

This is about FUN, get it?

Man...

I'm beginning to think this is just not worth the trouble, you know...?

I'll be there. If you are GREAT if not... Oh well. Either way HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

Danny

Well of course she isn't opposed to parking in a public parking lot... It's public, not reserved by the show. Each year there are lots of interesting collectibles and classics parked there.

This isn't a matter of it "being too serious" for me. Based on the original intent and agenda of the original thread, it just struck me as petty, pushy, and obnoxious. That doesn't seem fun to me, and I wouldn't want to be associated with it.

So, I'll be there with a real French car. I can display the smart at any number of other gatherings....

Memphis to Encino would be a stretch. I would love to join this one. It would be an honor just to be in the parking lot. I've always been attracted to Citroens with their hydraulic/pneumatic leveling system.
Sorry I can't make this one. Enjoy with out me and the BB.
