I stopped by the 'Smart Madness' shop last weekend and had the opportunity to test drive Boris's smart equipped the new cold air intake. I definitely felt the difference. More torque, faster acceleration, quicker shifts...

I don't understand how changing the intake makes it shift faster, based on the way the shifting is set up. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, I immediately noticed better shifting after putting on the DTH exhaust and making my own intake that was similar to SmartMaddness' newer model, but without the box. (and a heck of a lot cheaper too) Anyone have any insight on why a better breathing engine shifts faster when the shifts are electronically controlled?

We have had great feedback on the new intake and lot's of new users. Some folks asked for more information on the intake and the manufacturer has put together a short video documenting temps in real time driving scenarios. We have a scan gauge in one of our cars and have had a similar experience ourselves.

Here is a brief video showing a smart with ONLY an intake on it. No other performance products have been added with the exception of a air scoop.

Thank you....
