We now also stock the replacement bulbs just in case someone has our HID set and would like to change the bulbs (example: from 4300 to 6000 or 6000-8000).

We are also offering a one year warranty on the bulbs!

This is the ONLY set that has been specifically designed for the smart. No other set on the market was specifically designed for the smart headlight housing.

Check the pics carefully... You always get what you paid for.

We invested a significant amount of funds in to producing a smart car specific HID set. There are no external ballasts, no external wires and no double sided tape! These sets are designed to simply replace the existing rubber cap on the back of the headlight housing.

If you are planning to purchase both the low and the high beam check out our combined listing for additional price breaks.

If you are interested in a simple, good quality, generic version of an HID conversion kit with an external ballast that is mounted with double sided tape we can offer you those as well along with the best warranty and price.

All HID kits are not the same.

This is the ONLY HID set that has been exclusively designed for the smart car. Compare before you buy!

Several threads were created by other suppliers about HID kits. In some of those threads there were comments made that were not 100% accurate. We would like to state the following in order to clear up any confusion that may have arisen.

After reviewing the competitions pictures we can honestly tell you there is a big difference!

The kit we offer is specifically designed to work with the smart headlight and is nothing like the other kits being offered elsewhere. Compare the pictures of the different sets that are available and you will see for yourself.

There are plenty of good quality HID kits in the marketplace, but this is the ONLY one that was specifically made for the smart car.

If you are looking for a smart car specific HID kit that was designed to work on the smart with no external ballasts, wires and etc this is it. If cost is the main issue than we can offer you other lower price alternatives that have the external ballast and wires (identical to other HID kits) for less.

If we can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to give us a call at 562-961-6800.

Thank you.

I am not sure why or how my question was deleted but i was wondering how much the extra bulbs cost?? I could not find them on your site.

the second half of my question is answered - it was how long to they last and i see you have a one year warranty

Todd,

I do not know what happened to your post. We do not have the ability to delete any posts. Maybe it got posted on another thread I did not see.

To answer your questions about warranty...

Over the last week we have been in discussions with the manufacturer that makes our HID kit. I am happy to say that they are very confident about the design and the quality of the kit. Due to this and the amount of the smart car specific HID kits that we have sold they have agreed to extend the warranty to a full LIFETIME replacement warranty.

What does this mean?

Our smart car specific HID kit is now covered under a full lifetime warranty. This warranty covers all the parts and even the bulbs! Please check the product description on our site for details.

Now the best HID kit in the market place just got better!

Wow, what a simple and nice looking kit.

Do you guys have any options for replacements for the tiny amber bulbs on the sides?

that is great.
are you going to offer the bulbs seperate? if so how much?

I saw your post yesterday with the life time warranty, i never thought it would cover the bulbs - but it seemed to vanish also .

I was thinking about starting with one set to see how it goes. I am not sure if I want to do the low or the high beams first. Why are the high beams only available at 4300k? I was thinking i may want the 8000k for the touch of blue/purple.
Thanks
tm

don't the higs/lows use the same bulb?
