I get my smart car next month but cant find anyone in Arkansas to service it!

just got ours Wednesday in Tulsa. Trailered it home. got about 100 miles on it. got our first check engine lite today but after contacting dealer in Tulsa, it went away. Cute car! lots of lookers and comments. Time will tell. Wife named it Piglet! Would be interested in talking to other Central Arkansas owners.

You can get the oil changed anywhere that you trust. Just go to the Mitsubishi dealership and buy the oil filters. They may have to order them, that's what they did for me. I would look up the part number for you but I can't. I'm in Japan and the part is with the car in Arkansas.

Our dealer in Tulsa says that the version of the warrenty we purchased allows me to change my own oil (keep oil and filter receipts and note milage and date when changed) and other repairs covered by a 3rd party insurance company can be done by any ASE certified mechanic. I'd have to read the details to see if we have to call a 1-800 number to get the repairs pre-authorized first. repairs at our dealer are $100 deductable. If we wanted repairs with no deductable, we would have to return it to the dealer to have it repaired (a 200 mile trip).

FYI
