Thanks for the heads up. still have less than 2K miles on the engine. We have taken it on vacation with us to the Florida Keys. It looks pretty comfortable on the trailer we purchased for that purpose. just drove it back into the RV park on the edge of Miami after a day trip down to Key West. It has come in handy for the side trips. Gets lots of comments and questions.

I'll keep an eye on the Little Rock shop when we return.

So much for my plan to be there in January....

I am looking at a visit in maybe April or May (hopefully)

My time is Japan is coming to an end so packing my house, selling my car and all that goes with moving are in my future for the next few weeks.

I am moving to Hawaii next. I am very sad that there is no smart dealership there. I placed a second reservation with that zip code hoping that a dealership would be built there AND I would be sent there next. Only one wish came true. Living there for the next three years is gonna be big fun.

Anyway, after the move and getting somewhat settled in I will be coming to Arkansas and be there for a few months. I miss my family, I miss my car.

I hope to see you guys again when I am there, and hopefully more than once while I am there. I look forward to meeting the new smart car owners too.

I wonder where they got their training...not being a dealer and all? A trained mech. and a correctly trained smart mech. are probably two very different things. I hope someone here picks up the line, I mean Tulsa is nice, but the four hour drive is a pain.

Yeah, Tulsa is quite a drive. They told me that there mechanics were trained for Smart Cars. I would call them (501-320-1400) Mine only has 500 miles on it so I shouldn't be needing them for awhile.

yeah, I'm interested. Let's start a club. I wonder how many Smarts are in Little Rock? Anyone have any idea how to find out?

They are opening a smart dealer in Hawaii soon so do not be afraid to move your smart there but I doubt Little Rock is in the near future for smart. I would also be careful of so called trained mechanics on smart, they maybe familiar with the Mitsubishi engine but the electrical and trani are different and for many of the issues you will need someone trained by smart and has access to their help lines etc. If I were you guys why don't you try and meet up with the Mo/Kan club this year along with the the club from Oklahoma in Branson or some where in the middle later this year !
