Pennsylvania is to the west of NJ and NY is north and east of NJ. One goes through NY to get to NJ from CT. It can include CT and MD since they are not far from NJ.

I will try to come up with some thing that is more inclusive; one that includes Maryland and Connecticut. Would Delaware be too far to be included?
