Mid-West Smart Summer Rally

Well, I will be staying at the Indian Trail for this rally. I finally got myself to get a reservation for there!

We are going to try and get there as well. My fiance's birthday is the 4th of July and he's never been to the Dells and loves to camp out.

Hey guys! I read through this thread to catch up.

First, how's it going? What kind of numbers (of smarts) are you expecting do you think?

If I come, I expect to have a shot at longest drive! 1855 miles and 28 hours of driving according to Google! just kidding, I'd be flying.

A few people suggested I poke my head in here and say my bit. If there is interest, I can make it to this event for a group buy of cruise controls with installations all weekend. Best deals available + professional installs = more comfortable drives on the long drive home!!

Let me know if there is interest. Discounts get larger with the size of the group. In the past with very large groups (which this seems to have the potential for) we've donated one or more units as prizes, which can be handed out by raffle or as a longest drive prize or as a reward to the organizer depending on what people want to see.

I can't imagine it wouldn't get to be at least 200, the 50 are just the early ones that have comitted to coming already on the forum. Smart Milwaukee had delivered 320 smarts by the end of last year. Tony one of the salespeople has started to tell thier costomers. And there are at least 5 dealerships within a few hundred miles of the dells. I would think it could get large enough to become a problem for any city to handle. But the dells is about as equipped as your going to find to accomodate large amounts of people. But you should get sleeping accomodations reserved as soon as possible.
I for one, would love to get in on a group buy of cruise controls. I want one and would be able to afford one by then. Cruise is a must have to keep me from getting tickets, and long trips. which I plan on doing alot in my smart, because I can afford it better in smart.
