Yup ... I was thinking they missed KS in their list of Midwestern states -- at least, my family "back East" always talk about how we live in the Midwest; is there a cartographer in the house to clarify the designation? ;-)
... it could turn into an annual event, kind of like the motorcycles going North to Sturgis ... weeeeellllll, maybe not "like" that, exactly ...
I have to agree with Big Panda, those of us in southern Indiana can't travel as far when we have very limited time off, Just making it to northern Indiana, Illinois is too long for some of us on a one day event. Us older folk need to sleep some too.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was taught that Kansas was in "The Plains States". Like "new math", maybe there's "new geography" too?

I agree, especially about the "older folk" part. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's
With chieftmc living in Terre Haute, I vote that HE host the event! What ya say there Chief old boy? Up to having 40-50 HOUSEGUESTS???
Looking at the picture above, Wisconsin Dells is pretty close to the center of the states (in the picture) As for the weekend, well in my experience, there is NO perfect weekend so just pick one.
"If You Book It, They Will Come" Jim Morrison, Wayne's World"
I thought WI was a pretty centeralized location too!

The meets are going by who volunteers to host them. We're spreading the love throughout the state. If people volunteer in Southern Indiana, I will come down. So far we've had no Southern Indiana volunteers. If you want a Southern Indiana meet PLEASE volunteer in the SIN thread for February or March, as we already have a meet in the works for January.
