You all know I will be there in spirit. My roots are mid-west, but I can't do a long drive in a short car every season! Have fun.

I think we should hold off until mid October so we can be near peak for fall colors. Here is a route I devised today:

from:Bridge St/WI-27/WI-64 to:County Rd E to:WI-64 to:County Hwy Y to:W River St to:County Hwy X/WI-29 Bus to:44.807965,-91.522293 - Google Maps

Comments? The drive should be 2 hrs, 15 mins. I will call locals later today to see if there are better routes. Also I will try to shorten it to around 1.5 hours. It seems a bit long.

Yes, October sounds good to me!

Why shorten the route? I mean it's not like it's a daily commute or something!

Okay, I just didn't know if people that are driving 2-4 hours to get there want to drive for another 2 hours on the route...thus then another 2-4 hrs to get home!

Well as of now until I get the car and feel it, I have no plans of getting a CC unless the ride is that terrible without...
