I arranged a suprise party for the wife's 50th birthday. She was totally unaware until she walked in. Now she doesn't believe me about this Summer rally. She wants to know where, when, how many people are going to be there etc. I told her it looks like about 6-12 cars so far...OK, that didn't help...I find it hilarious that she thinks I'm making this up.

My oldest son (24) wants to go too but.... sorry, no back seat....

I know a couple good places to stay that is pretty scenic. I've been to both places and they're pretty good.

Baker's Sunset Bay. - Went here for Labor Day 08' - personal favorite - http://www.sunsetbayresort.com/

-hotel room or cabin
-nightly bonfires
-on Lake Delton (what's left of it)
-beach (swimming, ball games etc.)
-indoor/outdoor pool
-laundry room
-VERY close to downtown dells.
-GOOD PRICES! Some with amusement park packages!

Wilderness Lodge - Went here 4 years ago - http://www.wildernessresort.com/

-HUGE indoor/outdoor waterparks
-arcades
-hotel room or condo
-Prices vary
-Close to Downtown Dells (almost next to Sunset Bay)
-Golf!
-go to site for more info

A MUST SEE ATTRACTION FOR WAVE POOL LOVERS!!

Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park (used to be called Big Chief)- been here Labor Day 08' http://www.mtolympuspark.com/index.htm

-Poseidon's Rage (THEY SHOOT A 9FT TALL WAVE RIGHT AT YOU!!! )
http://www.mtolympuspark.com/outdoor_water/index.htm
-Go-Karts (smaller than your Smart)
-Hades Rollercoaster (Tall, fast, bumpy, fun)
