The only help I need now is route planning for the drive after the park. I don't know the area and I need some advice on a easy to drive route.

A Boat Load of smarts

The Merrimac Free Ferry
Merrimac ferry - Wisconsin Department of Transportation
Colsac III - Merrimac Ferry at Columbia County Tourism .com! Official Web site about tourism in Columbia County, Wisconsin.

Hopefully they will allow for Doubbling up so it doesnt take to long. But it should be a fun part of the trip. Maybe we will have to group by color for the crossings

With one great big push down the waterslide!

Hmmm, a color coded ferry?

Call NASA, let's get "Ferry Able to Be Seen From Space" into the record books!

Those Time Out trailers look like they were made for smarts and cycles!

Trailer weight is 345 lbs.

Ok, I heard back fromthe DOT on the ferry ride.

The Ferry is designed to hold 3 rows of 5 Full size SUV's or Pickups with comfort room on all sides. Its capacity includes Life Jackets for a simmilar equivilant of adult pasengers.

They can't guarentee we can put 30 smarts on the ferry at once but some of that may depend on our behavior. First ones on should pull all the way up to the front Gates leaving as little "comfort zone" as possible, and if those following pull right up to within a few inches we should have no problem giving the impression we can get 30 on the boat.

Ultimatly the decision is in the hands of the Captain. But we should be able to get more than 15 and less then 30.

OH and there is a park on the south side to regroup after the ferry is we need to make multiple trips.

So, Dave Schembri was at our dealership on Thursday, he was discussing the rally with the staff there and seeing if they were planning on being involved. It looks like we'll have a representative from Smart Center Bloomington coming on Saturday!
