Sorry jw, I added an Ohio location, as well a few more locations. As it approaches, I am considering having this be a national event.

If I see convoys of smarts going down the Interstate I'll know where they're headed.

Wisconsin doesn't know what's about to happen, this might make headline news!

Hope it does make the news. It's about time they had some good news on there. We should get someone to video/photograph the event. I'd love to have a video of a long line of Smarts going down the main drag and me being in the group!!

Hey, I'm ready to lead the convoy from the north west coast. That's ~2000 miles, plenty of time to pick up more smarts all along the way. My current rough draft plan is to leave Portland on or about June 6th and meander my way east. I don't have a lot of meandering experience, but willing to try!

Compaird to the # Harleys that come to the state every year it may not phase the cheese heads here. But all the FIB's (Friendly Illinois Buddies) you will be sharing the road with comming from the south is another thing.

Carefull they don't plow you over on the way. I guess their is safety in Numbers

Looking at room reservations, I'm not too familiar with the area as it has been about 20 years since I've been to the Dells. Is there any plans to stay at or near any place in particular? Bakers Sunset Bay looks nice, Might have to check it out for a future family reunion.

You could borrow Duner's nav unit?

Seriously though, the Google times are for Superman driving straight through, or maybe putting the smart on rails so you can cruise on auto-pilot.

Would I love to go? SURE.

Realistically, this would be a minimum of nine days for me. That would require driving 10 hours a day for three days each way including a minimum of pit stops.

Paired with my business calender, this event is unfortunately a no-go. But I'm keeping my eyes open for events that will fit my calendar.

I haven't been to the Dells for 35+ years so I'm not sure which route is the best I just think that a smart convoy would be grrrrrrrrreat!
