When we went in 1999, it took us nearly 3 WEEKS! just to cover a small area of the Dells. As for the Ducks, Jetboats, and so on, Lake Delton is supposed to be at an average of 12ft deep by time it's May!

Yes, once you've gone through, nothing in the building would hold a candle to the house.

My chances of going so far 1/1,000,000
-There will be more to come after I get the car though!

Oh boy, the company the better half works at laid off half the staff in that department now I don't know if we can come. I hope as the time gets closer it turns around there.

I was talking about The House On a Rock. I wasn't too impressed with it but it's kind of like the worlds biggest ball of twine. You gotta see it once, That's enough.

I could see spending a few weeks exploring the dells area. Thinking it may be a good idea to reserve a room somewhere. Been thinking about Sunset Bay..

Do'h! so many attractions, I think I was talking about Tommy Bartlet's Robot World. That's a place to visit once, twice, maybe 3 times.

When I went to Sunset Bay in September, Lake Delton was no more than a desert looking area filled with plants, people walking around, and people on ATVs.

It's nothing too special, but it's good considering the prices of the big time hotels in the area.

The pools are nice and warm and the nightly bonfires are a way to end a good day.

Camping

We are planning on towing the Smart behind the motorhome and camping ing in the park. I have spoken to friends who say it is a great place to camp. If other people are camping as well we could try to stay together.

MISSING RSVPs

Anyway it is a Midwest event but anyone is welcome to attend. If it were national I'd pick the SE or the SW. There isn't much going on in the middle of the country that I know about. Our country is kinda big as well so that make sit difficult. I suppose the No Cal lumbard street is the West Coast Rally. (130 smarts is pretty big)

Anyway, as what Suze said the plan is pretty much set, ideas are still welcome though

Donnyonee, I added you the the RSVP list, glad to see your on board...if you do come, bring some others with you and also bring extra sets of lug covers to sell.
Hey Jefferios!!! I was just on smart car insider and checked to see if anyone else rsvpd. And none of the rsvp are there anymore.
checked other events and they still have them. Wonder whats up?Just went back in insider and they are back up must have been a glitch?

Smart USA insider has been having several problems lately. Currently I cannot add friends on that website.

Yep, the gauntlet was thrown in San Francisco in August and Florida upped the ante.

I think most people don't plan more than a month or so ahead on these kinds of events. There's a lot of planning going into this one and I think we have a really good chance to meet or exceed that number.

Since SF did not contact the Guinness people and I don't believe Orland did either, there is still no official world record for the most smarts gathered in the US. Hmmmm... something to think about.
