Saw a total of four (counting this morning):

Yesterday - Blue/black passion coupe, IL tag X30 xxxx, probably from Lake Bluff (no dealer license frame and no 'Loeber' crest) and Black/black passion coupe, IL tag A12 xxxx, Loeber license frame both on Route 12 near Deer Park/Long Grove area and another passion coupe - Red/silver on Route 12 in Palatine by the Menards, this one was traveling too fast to see the dealer frame (if any!).

And finally - one this morning, Yellow/silver passion coupe, WI tag MAT xxx

Note to nodakkid - probably not too far away, my son takes our smart in the NW 'burbs a lot and then I take it close to the north shore for work. This weekend by far is the most I've seen since we bought ours in April. I'll be going to Toronto this week on business so will be curious if we see a lot more in a city (country) that's had them for a lot longer!

I sure that you should see a few in Toronto. Of course, we are in the NW burbs. I commute to Great Lakes and the wife to Glenview. We always honk when we spot a smart in the "wild".

I saw a yellow with black tridion cabriolet at Pinstrips in Northbrook on Saturday night.

We were on our way to Sam's club when we seen a yellow/black smart in the Tinley Park K-mart parking lot at a classic car show. We had planned on stopping after we got out of Sam's Club ~ wanted to talk with the owner since we are still waiting for ours. But by the time we got out of Sam's club the smart was gone. Not to many in this area.

2 wild smart sightings:

1) red/black passion in Buffalo Grove on the parking lot of the stripmall on McHenry and Lake Cook Road. (mid-summer 08)

2) Yellow/black passion (cab? not sure) in Wheeling, corner of Dundee and McHenry (seen this one a few times in around the same area, most recently a few weeks ago).

I see 1 per month.

1. I saw 1 last week at the intersection of IL. Rt. 12 & Big Hollow Rd. In Fox Lake. It was a bumblebee

2. Saw 1 last month at Six Flags: Great America (SFGA) where I work, it was black & silver. In Gurnee.

3. Saw 1 a couple months ago on Grand Ave. toward SFGA. Blue & silver

Note: all were passion coupes!
