New Smart Cabrio owner in Rogers Park

Hi everyone! I'm getting my new blue and black Cabrio this week and wanted to see if there are any other members here in the north side of Chicago. I know I've seen about 3-4 Smarts in the area (one with a cool Spain flag paint job).

Would love to meet some of you and hear your stories about driving in the city and if you guys get together any time.

I've seen three in Roger's Park. There's an orange one near Pratt and Wolcott, one with the Spanish flag painted on it near Touhy and Clark and mine (blue and black) now around Touhy and Wolcott.

Hey- that's me!!! I'm in Rogers Park also,around Touhy and Clark and thanks for noticing that my Pea2so is all about Spain. I am thinking of getting a panel set in white and adding the red stripes that the cabs in Madrid have. Too cute,right? I am trying to plan a northsider get together for a Sunday in Jan. at a Starbucks or that coffee house on Clark in Andersonville or someplace with enough parking (and inside)

Hi nonuro! We just drove past your smart to see the flag and compare yours to ours. My wife was wondering why you had the flag (she thought maybe it was there when you bought the car)

We're actually neighbors as I live 2 blocks west of you on Touhy. I'd love to get together and meet the other smart owners in the neighborhood. Next time I drive by I'll leave you a note

PS. Another great place to meet would be Charmer's Cafe on Jarvis Square. There's a parking lot in the strip mall in front so we could all park there. It would look great having all the smart cars invade the corner.

I put the stripes on last August. They are supposed to go on the back also, but there were to many helpers while I was trying to put them on. A few weeks ago someone smashed out my rear window, you can see the pictures over at the smartusainsider site.I paid attention to the street names on the way home tonite and was surprised how close we are. Let's plan something soon just has to be on Sundays.
Finally remembered the name of that coffee house in Andersonville, it The Kopi Cafe.

Kopi is nice, has a hostel feel to it, so with our smarts, we might feel like we're in Europe!

Why did they break the window? Did they steal anything?
