Smarts in Chicago west burbs?

We, and Smartie -silver and black, are out here in Yorkville enjoying riding around with the top down today.

I've seen a couple of "bumble bee" smart cars on the way to and from Joliet. Recently saw a Smart Car in Aurora area and another bumble bee heading south on Hwy 47 from Sugar Grove.

If so, I have an idea.

Starting last night, every Tuesday over summer downtown Plainfield closes off lockport rd (the main st.) from 5pm-9pm for a car show of sorts. It is mostly classic cars, but I parked up there last night, and the attention Buster, my smart received was crazy! Last year I saw a blue on black one parked out there a few times...

But anyways, I think it would be pretty cool if we got a few of us together to really showcase what smart has to offer every once and a while.. PLUS, I could use help answering all the questions.

I drove to Chicago last Sunday on I-94 from the Gurnee entrance and I saw doubles of a lot of cars.

First was 2 minis chasing a Ferrari in a traffic jam.

Second was 2 Loeber smarts, one silver Brabus, the other was a white passion or pure. They were within 300ft of each other and they both disappeared onto the same street.

Third was 2 more minis, one was a convertible.

The fourth was a class of Civics heading in the same direction but splitting off at I-290.

The fifth and final was 2 black Mustangs running side-by-side, engaging in the "who's got the louder engine" game.

The sixth happened to be another GMC Envoy, so I followed him instantaneously creating a SUV convoy.

I don't see too many out in the West Burbs (when I happen to be out there), maybe wrong time of day.

I've only seen a few out here in Tinley/Orland area. I have a Blue/Silver Cabrio. Rare to see the masses...and I like that way. It's nice to have a unique car that many don't have. Attention getter that's for sure!!!

Have a BLK/BLK in the Oak Forest / Tinley area now for three months.
Have seen a yellow and a white one screamin around.

Still get looks and expect to see more as gas $$$$ goes up.

I have a black/silver/ red int and will soon be moving to the area. Probably near joliet. Hope to see some smarts when I get there.
