Beware of flying Turkeys

I was driving just north of Milwaukee the other day and a big old Turkey flew out in front of my Smart as I was going 75mph! I swerved to avoid it and luckily at the last second the bird changed his mind and flew back to the side of the road. I can't even imagine the windshield after hitting a turkey....I lucked out

The works Karl Kling - Gǖnther Molter Mercedes 300SL in the 1952 Carerra Panamericana collected a vulture through the windshield, knocking navigator Molter sensless. Thereafter, M-B installed a metal grid over the windshield for the Carerra.
