Giantkiller, I'm sure our paths will cross again sometime. I look
Forestacademy, most car and expo events have some kind of admission. $7 for a day is not overly expensive, especially when you consider that parking was free. Plus if you were going to be around more than one day, I think you could buy advance tickets. (For our participants who registered for the event for weekend Fair admission was free.)
As far as the Hybridfest name going away, I doubt that will happen. I spent a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money to trademark that name. What you will see is a changing of how it is used.
I envision Green Drive Expo being home to many different "Fests". For example, you may remember me early on inviting smart car owners to join us at the event. There is certainly a place for "
smartFest" at Green Drive Expo. As well as
Hybridfest at Green Drive Expo. Or how about
PropaneFest at Green Drive Expo... I think you get the idea.
We have already created an event, all you need to do is link in and expand it and make it more interesting to the people who come. I think not only would your smart car people benefit from it, but the public would as well.
I am confident that people want to know a lot more about smart cars. I frequently get questions and comments about them. It would be great if you guys could share your stories at Green Drive Expo.
