was that you Badabing?

I was at TJ max the other day and saw a blk/blk Smart with black painted headlights and black rims, just wondering if that was your ride?

Hey Curtis, it was probably my wife. My lease was up on my Tundra in Nov., and I haven't replaced it yet so my wife and I swap the Smart and C30 every other week. I painted the headlights and wheels last summer - I can't leave anything stock for long! The paint on the wheels has taken a beating over winter, so when I change the tires back from the snows in then next month I'll probably get them powder coated. Are you driving yours in the snow?? Since I put the Pirelli Winter tires on, this car is a beast through the snow. I can't believe the difference.

I have been out a few times in the snow, most notably the big storm we had a couple weeks back, it was hell driving! I didn't really plan on driving it this winter but missed it to much so I have been busting it out whenever I can.
How hard was it to paint your head lights, I really want to do that to mine. I am also going to do a wheel upgrade this summer, just can't decide which ones I like best. anyway, your car is looking good!

Yeah, after the first snow and I couldn't stop, turn, accelerate, make it up the driveway.... I figured snows would be a sound investment. Painting the headlights wasn't too bad, requires you to take off the entire front of the car! There is a "how to" I read on here in the mod section. If you want some help, let me know. I might be doing it again soon. We just got the email on our Brabus vert a few weeks ago. It is supposed to be here sometime in the next couple months. Not sure if we are going to trade or try to sell our current Smart.
