DFWsmart.org stickers

Just got back from the shop with the stickers. Small miscommunication the designer accidentally used the original template instead of the updated design. But thats an easy fix as I have illustrated below. The total for each sticker comes out to be $3.00 each in either the black or the white. If you like my 2 color sticker then that will be $6.00 each. If anyone is interested in the 2 color sticker and wants one before the Saturday meet try to let me know before Thursday to give him some time to cut it.

Here is the sticker as you will receive it.

Here is how you will need to cut the sticker in order to make it our new updated layout.

I used a piece of painters masking tape to make a straight line for me to follow off of.

What you are going to want to do is carefully peel the top layer of transfer tape off slowly trying not to damage the sticker. If it doesn't want to come off with the transfer tape take something stiff or just use your fingernail to rub the top of the transfer tape so it will stick better.

You are going to then take the sticker and align it how you want on the window and slowly press it down from one side to the other. You want to try to minimize any air bubbles from forming under the sticker. Then take something hard again. I used a hard rubber squeegee made for these things to rub down on the sticker to make sure it had a firm adhesion to the window.

I then did the same to the separated DFW lettering and placed it next to the rest of the sticker. If you look closely I actually used the rear window defrost to line the top of the DFW to make sure it was straight on with the rest of the sticker.

After that just peel the transfer tape off and your new stickers should be attached to your window.

Here are the black and white stickers.

***Note if you are planning on installing these stickers directly to your panels and not the windows the installation process is the same. This is lifetime grade vinyl and will not damage your paint. It is super easy to remove and will not leave and residues.

Also if anyone needs help installing their stickers I'll bring my supplies with me to the meet and assist anyone with their stickers.

Looks good. And even if they messed up, you found the solution for the fix. good job. Depending if I am getting a job in Dallas or not will depend if I am putting your sticker on my car. I know Brandon would love me to move up there LOL.

Brandon,

I like the design of the logo! I'll be at the Meet & Greet tonight, and if you have a red one, I'l like to have it.

See you there,

Phil Hanson
