Well, I just got back from the Smart Center in Dallas and it was a nice trip. But let me back up.
I was contact by the Dallas Observer today because of our interest in being in the St. Patrick’s Parade in Dallas! I meet with the representative tomorrow afternoon to go over what we need to do as a group to make this happen! WOO! Their theme this year is “Green”, as in Eco-Friendly. She said we are perfect for this theme!
I also contacted The City of Lewisville and they have three events coming up that they want us to be a part of. Their Cinco de Mayo festival this year also has a “Green” theme and though it will not be a parade, we are invited to have a “booth” to show off our smarts and tell about them.
The two parades in Lewisville are the Western Day Parade in September, and the Holiday at the Hall parade. Both are too early to apply for, but are both cool events. If you have similar events in your city, bring them to the table. Lets get busy!
Now, I went and talked to Zach Gilbert, the Sales Manager at Park Place, because the GM wasn’t there, and he said we can send him a flyer to pass out to new owners, and he said that he could send out an email en masse to current owners about us. They also would like to sponsor events at the dealership like they do for the Mercedes club, among others.
I did not call The Flying Saucer because the debate is still on about whether we need to move the meeting place. Perry and I do not think it needs to be moved. For more on that, visit the discussion on
