Why can't we do something like this?

Today my bride of 38 years and I went to the Hampton Christmas Parade. There was a Corvette club in the parade, I was thinking if we had a little organization we could do something like that. Someone had a big red ball stuck on the front and a set of reindeer antlers attached to the windows, it looked cute, too bad I didn't have my camera.

Been done. Last year there were 2 smart Pure's in the local after thanksgiving day parade (Holiday Stroll) Mine and another. Both were all black, we were supporting Downtown Mainstreet. An area merchants association. we got a ton of comments and it was a blast!! of course we gave out Smaties candy. It is not tough to get the ball rolling. Just get a bunch together and sign up with the event organizers.

Great thought for next year.
Get 10 smarties together, dress up 8 smarties side by side with antlers & bells, plus one in front with the big red ball on the roof for the lead, having a "red ~ Cabrio" in the rear with "Santa" driving, top & windows down and a bag of gifts tied to the back. Or, if not a Cabrio, mount a Santa's hat on top put the bag in the back.
The parade registrations are usually done in October. Coordination is done throughout the year. Great thought.

Sounds good, how many parades are there in Hampton Roads and how many smart owners would be willing to do it do you think? Sounds like we'd need at least 10, more for previous commitment opt outs. I know Hampton, Norfolk and Newport News each has a parade.
