Ok, I just went through the second tank and it was 306 on the decimal. That's a little bit less than the last. I've been using Texaco (with Techron) for the last 4 tanks, and I get it at the same station and pump. This tank I did not add any acetone, and I have my Ecometer installed, so we'll see what I can get with just 93 octane gasoline (no acetone)...

Its funny how many people are so outwardly opposed to my "love affair" on my other threads...

I think I posted that I would recommend using acetone if you do use low octane fuel, as it will increase the octane of your fuel. The Mitsu engine was designed to run on 95 octane fuel, if I remember correctly. If I said it backwards it was not my intention...

...my mistake...I stand corrected...here's your quote...
.."As a side note, I would suggest that anyone who doesn't use 93 octane fuel should put some acetone in to increase your octane.

jetfuel...blame it on

Dad - "Johnny! Where did you get that? Why would you do that?"

Johnny - "I learned it from watching you!"
