First two tanks.

37.8 mpg (dealer fill) and 38.2 ( our first fill). Up and down the RPM range for break in.

Town and country driving. No big city. Very little freeway. Miles so far 595.

Third tank of gas... 37 mpg overall. City driving in Los Angeles. My first two fills were Costco premium. This last fill-up was Exxon 92. We'll see if that makes any difference.

35.6 mpg on second tank. Mostly city streets, lots of stop signs/signals, short errands, some freeway, all automatic mode. Not too shabby.

First tank 33 mpg. But that was almost entirely local and I drive aggressively, so not so bad for starters. My wife is only getting 38 on the Prius this time of year-but she has a real lead foot and only drives 5 minutes at at time most of the time, which is the worst conditions for a Prius. And now she wants to drive the smart and leave the Prius at home!

I have 680 miles and am averaging 39mpg high winds alot of highway driving 50% of the time I have 2 people in the car. Love the way it drives. I did have some wind blowing problems but radio said it was over 40 mph that day.

On my second fill-up I just got 35. Mostly stop and go city streets with a little freeway mixed in. I keep it in auto and drive with the flow of traffic (that is I don't race out of every stop light, but don't lag behind as well).

The first fill up today was on the dealer filled tank. Calculated to be 32mpg, mostly city driving with a few highway speed tests to 80+ mph.
