Just filled up, 200 miles/5 gallons. That's exactly 40mpg. That is 130 in-town and 70 interstate miles- 1 occupant 98% of those miles. Keep in mind, I live in Blacksburg, VA, lot-so-mountains here, so 40mpg is great - especially considering my Smart replaced a 2002 Checvy Tahoe (16mpg). Love my car!

I have had my Brabus coupe for one month now. I put gas in for the first time yesterday after using most of the dealer gas. I got 36 mpg, all in town running the a/c constantly. So far, I am pleased.

My first two fill-ups I got 37 mpg, next one I got 42 and now I got 38 cuz I had to turn the a/c on. I am very pleased...most of it is highway driving.

I have been average 37 mpg. Perhaps it is 'low' because I accelerate too fast?

Mileage, Schmileage... I give up measuring now and go on with my life.

34 1/2 miles per gallon with A/C mostly on and high percentage of city driving. I realize that other cars in similar situations will not perform any better... except for Hybrids. FWIW I did not buy the car for its mileage, but rather as a whole unique package.

3d fill up, at 588 miles. 30.1 mpg. AC on, some hills, 60% highway, 40% city. Used manual all the time. Shift for optimal torque, e.g., do not want to lug engine at/below 2K rpm; try to keep the vehicle between 3 to 4K rpm.

Presume the mileage will improve as the engine gets totally broken in, and I realize my driving style is not conducive to optimal mpg's.
