Have already had suggestions for the BBQ crawl and visiting the Harley plant. How about a few more and then we'll start a poll to gauge interest?

Thinking back to Camp Jeep, are there going to be any on-site events/contests that go along with the smart theme? Park in the smallest spot without hitting a cone, panel change timed event, how many of X boxes (different sizes/shapes) can you pack in the back in the least amount of time, best customizations/mods show, etc.

A drive is nice, but I'm more looking forward to the tech discussions, meeting other owners, talking with vendors, and just generally having fun without being on the road a lot after the long drive to KC. I'm hoping that one can spend a lot of time in different activities at the main meeting place.

Just my thoughts...

I'd be up for some sort of parking lot gymkhana event if we can find someone to organize; low key, fun, not an autocross.

I tossed this one out somewhere before, Take a car that has quite a few mods on it and have a contest to see who can find the most mods. Some of them can be quite hard to detect like window operation with key off.

These are all great...

For the mods event, I'd be at a deficit since I don't even know what to look for except an obvious armrest, custom seat covers, chrome detail, or maybe the cruise control; all the subtle ones, like the window related to the power I wouldn't know what to look for or engine mods...unless I study up before I get there or have a check sheet to look at that may have 50 (or more) modifications listed but the car (or cars) may only have 13 of the mods on it.

Can I enter my duct tape?

It would be a great teaching tool to show those of us that don't have the mods but can actually see them and say "I want it", then will need to figure out to get it.

Suggestion: Have some additional specifics on each of the mods (price range and who sells the mod, can you install it yourself or have someone do it for you? Can I say "Vendor Group Opportunity"?

If I go thorugh each of the SCOA sponsor-vendor links and see all the mods available, there are a lot!

Too bad they don't have a drag strip in KC like they do in Orlando that was a blast. Even though only five of us were racing ,it would be even better to have a large group racing against each other.
