1300's Still waiting to Config.

How many of us are hanging around just waiting to Config. Better yet in what year. Frustrated in Dallas. Yes I've emailed called with the same reply, Oh! your in Dallas. I know there's more of us in the same boat.

I'm right there with you. My reservation is 1394, reserved on 10-26-2008. No confirmation yet!

DDE is Oct. 2008 to Dec. 2008. Time is running short, but tonight the smart USA website seems to be updating. I think that means that they are changing to the 2009 model. I think that is what has been part of the hold up for us. I think that France has been on vacation this month. I hope we find out soon.

i really feel for you guys. this just isn't right.

there's a guy in Iowa i think that is a low 1300 and has yet to 'configure' either, but has a DDE of late 2008!

and to add to all of this, today i see where someone (maybe MORE than 'one') has posted that NYC people are only waiting 6 MONTHS from 'reservation' to 'delivery'?

I would have a much easier time with the wait if all areas were at least close but 6 months in NY to 2 years in Dallas?

The dealer in the Twin Cities is quoting 22 months for a reservation placed now, too.

1360, DDE starts in October, and no configuration yet, either.

Maybe this has been said before, but if you are waiting to config at this late date, you will most likely be configuring a 2009 vehicle.

yep, that's what SCI (smart center Indianapolis) is telling US too......22 MONTHS! WOW!!!!!!!

How to solve the disparity in different parts of the country.
Since the cars are ordered thru the internet turn all the dealers into repair shops only and ship the cars out by Fed-X
