I've seen one other person on the boards that was higher (1311) but I havent seen 1300's besides me and that other person.
There *ARE* about 3-4 dealers in my immediate area (DC area) so that perhaps plays a part in this whole thing. So for those in bigger cities, don't lose hope, your Smart is coming!
Dang, I've got a awhile then. My mom's # is 1410(reserved November 10th) and mine is 1484(reserved last week). To top it off we live in AR and the nearest dealer is in Tulsa.
Oh , btw, there is a configuration bug w/ the comfort package and the inability to pick the clock/tachometer. They said they'd fix it by monday. I went back in there and re-did my configuration.

When you say "redid my configuration," did you mean the clock/tach appeared as a choice? I just tried configuring (1-26-08) and there is no choice for clock/tach. I'll wait until Monday, because I don't want to screw this up.

You have to unselect the Comfort Package.
Then go to "Interior" which NOW shows up.
Select Tach / Clock .
Then go back and select Comfort Package again.
It shows up now.
IF you want, do it when it's fixed on Monday.
Unfortunately, I did not keep the initial email with the reservation number. However, I do know that I ordered in June given the $99 deposit. Received email on Friday and put my order in on Saturday. Black exterior cabriolet, silver metallic tridion cell and red interior. Email said that the company might be able to deliver vehicle during second half of 2008.
