Email said "we may be able to deliver your smart fortwo during the second half of 2008".

I'll just have to suffer with my orphan Coupe till the White/Black/Red Cab gets delivered.

I must have done reservered mine right after you did (maybe) I am 1341. I am still waiting for confirmation code though but I have been in contact with my local dealership (but they are 1.5 hours away.) I hope you dont have to "suffer" to long witht the orphan you got!

Can someone pls copy and paste the text from their configuration confirmation where it says delivery in second half of 08?

I thought it was 60-90 days from config to delivery... if you configured today, then you should get delivery in like May-June...

May-June certainly isnt "2nd half of 2008"!

My letter read the same. Second Half of 08. I had a chance this weekend to visit a Smart Dealer in PA. There must have been 20 Smart Cars in the parking lot. Each one had the name of the expected owner. The Smart Car is really cool. I looked at each car and examined the option each person put on the car. It was strange though, that most Passions didn't add the Premium radios. I wonder why?
