If we configure in may or june we should be getting an 09 correct?

Not gonna guess at this point - too many unknowns. I can say we configured mid-September last year and the car was in port by the 19th of December. No idea if that same general timeline applies now. Also haven't heard when the official changeover to the 09 model year takes place.

From what I have read it is after the aug shutdown. September would start the 09 model run.

1215 initial reso (30 Apr 07) config invite 15 Dec, no word on delivery, no contact at all

1470 (early Jan 08) second reso.... no config invite yet.... betting this one is a 09 model

I'm 1494. If we configure before factory shutdown and if there are changes for the 2009, how do we know what choices to make?

Common sense says that the MSRP has to increase 3%~5% unless the dollar to Euro exchange rate continues to slide.... in that case PAG must seriously adjust MSRP up 7%~12% for investor demands.

We have fairly certain knowledge that the 09 will be same line up as 08s and no significant changes... Again common sense says they may do interior and exterior color changes

My best guess is that all reservations after mid Nov 07 are probably in line for a 09 version... I doubt PAG will have the info you and I need before Late July 08.

I have a personal bet with myself about MSRP increase being around $850

I am a 1417, in Northern California. Reserved Nov 18th, 2007. No word from smart yet. It seems like areas outside of Calif are starting to see higher #'s confirmed. But with the high number of California reservations, it seems like it will be 2009 for me. Any 1400's in Calif reservations confirmed yet?
