Any Confirmation Emails go out this week (January 4)

IMHO they have no reason to send them out from IB since the dealers will be initiating this function. On the other hand if IB will still be doing it they would probably resume the week of 1/7/08 due to the holiday.

I have not received mine yet. I am 1248 and people with 1266 say they received theirs. I, for one, hope the online confirmation stays in place. I live 80 miles from my dealer and to make that round just to sign papers and confirm the model I want seems to contradict the desire to drive a Smart for the improved MPG.

I live in Southern NJ, but will be garaging my smart in State College. Where is your dealer? The MB dealer at SC will not be a smart dealer, but tells me the closest will be in Pitt or Philly (Main Line). Please let me know.

There is a Cherry Hill Dealer, one in Edison and one in Devon, PA. Is your residence officially in Jersey? They take your D/L # so if there's some confusion about your residence better get that straight right away. You don't want them to lose you.

Remember that the first data element in the heirarchy of your electronic profile is the zip code that you reported in your reservation.

I moved since my reservation and called the smart 800 number to change it. I wonder how that is going to reflect my place in lne. The guy on the phone assured me it would'nt!

I think what Fish is trying to say is the ZIP code you put in your reservation tells smart what dealership to send your car. You can always call to change it.

cablvr: If you used 16801, 16802, or 16803 (State College Area), your dealer is Mercedes Benz (Smart) of Pittsburgh, 4709 Baum Ave, Pitts, 15213. 1-412-683-5000. They have told me that they cover east through Harrisburg.

OC1Dave, it will be interesting if Pittsburgh calls me. They're three hours away where Devon is 1 hour 15 minutes.
