Reserved 04/03/08. Still waiting to get config email. DDE still says cannot estimate at this time. RES# 1554

yea, don't get too anxious. i 'just' reserved on 3/16/08 and based on what i've seen so far, my 'swag' is that i won't be asked to 'configure' until around DECEMBER of this year. that's considering a 9 month wait to configure and another 9 month wait to get my car. (DDE says Sept-Nov 2009!)

but in the mean time, contact your closest dealer, tell them you have 'reserved' and ask to be put on their orphan list. should a car become available (through cancellation) they may call you much sooner and you can say 'Deal or No Deal' to that until you find one you like. still, may take a few months, depending on how many are on their list already.

so don't get discouraged.....hang in there. we're your online support group!

P.S. check the "Delivery Date Estimator" (DDE), daily, as it's been known to change quite often for some, ok?

1507 reserved 2/16/08. I have the same DDE response as you, wait one second let me check again, yup no change. We just have to hang in there.

It was apx. 10 months from reservation to configure for me.

Marshalltown can't be hell, it's too cold. I am a former Iowan now Texan and if you've never experienced TX in August some call that hell. But Iowa is a remote outpost that most people only fly over. That's the closest they ever come to Iowa.
